Hello Beth

I particularly wanted to say a very big thank you on behalf of both families to you and a the staff for making the day so awesome. Your staff are delightful... and you are not bad either! Your help as Teish was entering the service and your personal concern for her was excellent.

I made a point of speaking to all the staff - as many as I could find - before I left to not just say thanks, but tell them their service and attitude was refreshing. Greg, Brooke and Stephanie were fun and nothing was too much trouble.

The food was exceptional and as you promised, no shortage. The whole atmosphere of the facility is positive and fun. Many guests commented and found the whole wedding experience to be refreshingly different.

Our memories of our experience at Loxley will always be very warm and positive and in no small part due to you. So thanks Beth.

The fact that we were overseas and could organise all aspects of the wedding remotely with every confidence that things would be perfect was an essential service offered. If it were not for this things may have been different.
The grounds and presentation of reception venue were superb and all in attendance commented on truly how beautiful Loxley on Bellbird is as a destination for weddings and other functions.

I have been meaning to send this email since the day after the wedding (Danielle & Michael's big day was 4/6/2011).......! The honeymooners are into Week 3 of their 5 week overseas trip, so it may be a while before you hear from them!

Where do I start - to the staff at Loxley, from the maintenance men, the gardeners, the cleaning staff - you are brilliant!

Fiona - you are an excellent front desk contact for such an organization - even over the telephone, you made us feel very welcome.

Beth - Danielle & Michael had such confidence that you would make sure that their day was as perfect as it was from their first meeting with you. How well you looked after all of us - especially the morning of the wedding! Breakfast was superb, loved the coffee! Nothing was too much trouble for you. Thank you from the "Mother of the Bride" for making Danielle's day so stress-free!!

Mark - what a privilege to have you oversee Danielle & Michael's wedding reception. You are a true professional..... I could have listened to your violin/piano playing all night - thank you for sharing your well known musical talent with our family and guests & thank you to Lisa for leaving her sick bed to perform with you.

Kristy - well, it may have only been your 2nd/3rd day as supervisor for the dining room, but what an excellent job you did! Thank you! To the chefs - our guests just loved the meal and we are so glad that we could afford ourselves the opportunity of a tasting before making a final decision.

Paul - you have built "Heaven on Earth" at Loxley - good luck; we will certainly be recommending "Loxley on Bellbird Hill" to anyone looking for a perfect location for their wedding. "Peppercorn Lodge" was the ideal accommodation for our family.....Breakfast on the Sunday morning was a lovely way to see guests who had travelled long distances to be with the Bagust & Stark families.

To All the Staff at Loxley on Bellbird,

I would like to say a HUGE thank you.
It was great driving in and seeing our name on the sign in the driveway. It really made us feel special.
You made my wedding planning so much easier, the Staff was easy to talk to and was very understanding about everything.
It was fantastic that I could stay the night before the wedding. It made it so much more relaxing for the morning of the wedding.
The Day….Was perfect. Mark was so organised and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. He was never out of sight.
I loved how our close family and friends could stay the night, it just made the night go that bit longer.
The food…Was awesome. It was fantastic that we got to taste test the food before the wedding day (in which I am glad I did coz my dress was on so tight I couldn’t eat anything on the day).
The fact that people can chat in the reception room and the rest can dance and socialise on the deck without the music being too loud for the others was great.
I have heard nothing but great comments about everyone at Loxley from my guests.
Everyone at Loxley could not have been more accommodating. Thank you so so very much. Defiantly a day to remember.

To Beth, Mark and the rest of the Loxley on Bellbird Hill team,

Thank you all very much for your help in making our wedding and reception so enjoyable. The garden ceremony and reception were exactly as we wanted them and we couldn't have asked for more.

We particularly appreciated how you located two long-stemmed roses at short notice for our rose ceremony. The weather really added to the day as well – sunshine and overcast for the ceremony giving us great photos, then increasing rain into the afternoon to create the true Blue Mountains experience through the reception – brilliant!

The food – our friends are still raving about it (especially the salmon).The sorbet between courses was a great touch and drew praise.

Mark playing kids music (Twinkle Twinkle, Wiggles etc) on the piano certainly kept our flower girl entertained – very nice touch. The piano music through the reception was great, especially with us having the option to choose the music played.

Once all the fun was finished, we were delighted to see the bridal suite decorated with rose petals (thanks for the cleaners who would have had to clean them up), with wedding cake, champagne and chocolates just so we could keep the fun going for a little longer.

The next morning, the culinary delights continued with a hearty breakfast on the balcony on a beautiful sunny morning.

Thanks Loxley – we highly recommend you.

As the parents of the bride, we would like to pass on our gratitude and appreciation for all of the effort you and your staff made to ensure our daughter and son-in-law (Jackie & Luc Jennison) Wedding Day on the 9th April, 2011, was such a huge success.

Over the past month or so, we have receive3d so many beautiful comments about the venue and the ceremony – from how magnificent the premises and views were to the outstanding quality of the food served. I think Loxley even got the credit for the fabulous weather! You expect your guests to make comments on the night but we’ve been amazed at how many friends and family have made a point of contacting us after the wedding to mentioning certain aspects such as the staff, food, table set up, flowers and list continues. There was not one negative area.

Staff on the evening were super, efficient and friendly with all guest being extremely well looked after. For those that stayed overnight, they raved about the fabulous wedding breakfast served the next morning to the sounds of the local birds.

On a personal note, we would like to thank Beth, Fiona, Mark and Ben for their time, effort, advice and scrumptious menu. We’ve nothing but high praise for Loxley on Bellbird Hill and can honestly recommend it confidently as a venue for anyone seeking their own memorable day.

"To the wonderful Loxley House Staff,

Our wedding was the absolute dream day and this was all thanks to the Loxley House staff!

What more could a bride ask for!! On the morning of my wedding me and my bridal party woke in 'Loxley House - chalet' to what seemed like a six course scrumptious breakfast. This was followed by an exclusive room set-up for our hair and make-up and complimentary champagne. Beth and Fiona catered for every second leading up to our ceremony!

We would like to say a very big thankyou to Belinda! From our picture perfect ceremony to our stunningly set-up 'Explorers Retreat' reception room. Belinda, our day could not have been as smooth or as beautiful without your wonderful help! Our guests all made comment on the service and delicious food. Every small detail was taken care of even down to our MC - ' Mark Domars' cut-up the flower girls and page boy food!

Loxley House is not only stunningly beautiful, but has the perfect staff to match. We couldn't thank-you anymore for our wonderful and very memorable day! We will be highly recommending Loxley House as the 'perfect wedding location'!

Our Son Mitchell Giles and his new wife Jelena celebrated their wedding at Loxley on Bellbird Hill on the 26th March, 2011.
What a picture perfect venue, on the hills of Kurrajong the beautiful white homestead surrounded by verandahs and glorious gardens.
We would like to congratulate the management for the exceptional service, venue, food in fact everything went so smoothly it was a tribute to you and your staff.
The reception room "Kauri Room" was amazing, it was exceptionally clean the floor boards glistened, the table cloths pristine white, cutlery shiny and glasses were crystal clear.
The waitresses and bar staff were extrememly professional, in fact they were so unobtrusive they brought food and drinks to the table and then cleaned the plates away without us even noticing they were there. Food and drinks seemed to arrive so smoothly. Many of the guests commented on how professional you all were.
The food was delicious it was well presented and I really want to congratulate the chef and the catering crew who are vital to the success. You work behind the scenes and do an amazing job. The food was fantastic and there were many many compliments.
From reception through our whole dealings with you have been perfect as was our son and daughter-in-law's wedding.
I also sincerely appreciated your updates on the drink charges, it was so nice knowing we were able to approve how much we were spending throughout the night, so there were no unexpected surprises in fact we had budgeted very well.
The sound system, music, was just right and having our MC play the piano and violin also made the night perfect.
Please congratulate your staff as you can tell we are extremely satisfied customers and will recommend the Loxley to anyone as a perfect venue for a wedding or special event.

Julian and I had seen Loxley on the internet when researching reception venue options. We happened to be in the area yesterday and were surprised to see that you were holding your Wedding Expo. On driving down to the property we realised that people were packing up and we had missed it for the day.

We were greeted at the car park and assured by one of your staff that there was no problem at all with still having a look at the space. We both really appreciated the time that was taken to show us around your wonderful venue and to make us feel welcome. Both coming from an events background we know how hard it can be after a long day however the staff at your venue were so lovely and couldn’t have done more for us while we were there.

We have all your wedding information now and look forward to reading through all the options. Regardless of where we decide to hold our wedding, we will no doubt recommend your venue to anybody looking to have their wedding at a special place with wonderful staff.

Dear Loxely Staff

We would like to thank all of the Loxely staff who played a role in making our wedding day so special for us both on 14th January 2011.

In particularly Thank you to Beth and Fiona for coordinating everything and adapting things to our needs. You both did an amazing job which I imagine would not have been easy to take over half way through the organising of our wedding. You both helped to make our day both relaxing and enjoyable and are assets to Loxley.

Thank you to the chef for providing such gorgeous and delicious meals. When selecting a venue the food was very important to us and it was the menu that helped us make our decision. Thank you also to the chef, all the kitchen staff and front of house staff for ensuring our guests with food allergies and special dietary requirements were provided with tasty meals. We had many compliments from all of our guests about how amazing the meals were.

Thankyou to all the floor staff and the bar staff for making sure all our guests were happy and looked after. In particularly Thank you to Greg for being so accommodating to our guests at the end of the reception, it was greatly appreciated.

We would also like to thank housekeeping for ensuring our rooms had every thing they needed and were fresh and inviting.

The gardens at Loxley are just so magical and we would like to give praise to the gardeners on their job at Loxley. We had many garden lovers within our guests and received many compliments about how magical the grounds are, which was what inspired us to look at loxley in the first place.

Overall we had sensational time at Loxley and we feel it was the staff that made it feel so warm, friendly, comfortable and relaxed therefore providing the perfect atmosphere for us to relax and enjoy our special day.

We had many guests compliment us on our venue selection and ask us how we found Loxley and what other occasions you cater for.

To all the wonderful staff at the Loxley,

There's not enough I can say to thank you for the most perfect day of our lives! We knew the first time we saw the place that this was the place to have our wedding, but never expected how magnificant it would turn out!

The staff at the loxley are the most wonderful people I've ever met, and I was not the only one at the wedding that had the same opinion. And the food!!! I've never had more gorgeous food, and people are still raving about it days after! There was not a detail missed or thing out of place- it went perfectly!

A special mention to everyone we personally worked with! Venessa and Fiona - thank you for your kind words, your guidance, advice and support.

Steph was absolutely amazing on the day! She was a pleasure to have there on our day and to interact with, as well as service with a smile.

And finally Mark... thank you for making the day as beautiful as it was! From the running of the night to the gorgeous instrumentals, it really added that final touch that made the Loxley so spectacular!

EVERYONE has said this was the best wedding they have ever attended, including my new 80yr old Nanna!

Hi Vanessa,

I have been trying to put this email together for a week but every time I type it out, it ends up being essay long.

Firstly I want to thank you, Vanessa for not going crazy and for being patient with Shrek and I considering you hadn’t met us or really heard from us re: any of the preparations. We really are a relaxed couple, so we had no idea what went into wedding planning. We needed you to do the stressing for us!!

My next thank you goes to Steph. Wow. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Steph was THE biggest help on the day of the wedding! Between serving us our breakfasts, organizing drinks for us, lunches, racing a little platter up to Grannie and Di, taking them breakfasts etc, looking after us while we were getting ready – I am certain she has a stunt double. I cannot thank her enough for being all over everything, even when I had no idea what I was doing. She is gorgeous!

I would also like to thank the chef! How incredible was the food?! I mean, usually I consider wedding food to be barely edible, but this was soooo far beyond that, I can’t really explain! Even with the pain of the boning in my dress, I didn’t want to stop eating, nor did our guests- they are STILL talking about it.

I have received nothing but rave reviews about our wedding. All our guests thought the service was brilliant, food delicious, location gorgeous, and Mark was a hit too! Even Gemma and Alex the photographers can’t stop singing your praises!

Loxley really is a magical venue for a wedding, and everybody we dealt with made it even better.

I can’t thank you all enough for being so, well awesome at your job. We (and everyone that attended) will be recommending you to everyone we know, and I can guarantee that this wedding will be talked about for a very long time – purely due to you.

Justin and I would like to thank all of you for the absolutely wonderful wedding we had! From the first time we visited Loxley we were in love with the venue and knew it suited our vision for our wedding, but you exceeded all our expectations and it truly was the perfect day.
The service we received was efficient, friendly and patient. There was nothing that was too much trouble, and the help we received was invaluable. Justin and I felt a connection with both the location and the staff – we were made to feel like part of a family!
On the day as issues arose, the staff were able to deal with them calmly and efficiently, which enabled us to focus on our special event. From ensuring everyone was in the right place, to making sure there was food while we had photos to helping us out very late at night with lost keys, we always felt that nothing was too hard.
We had many comments from friends about how wonderful the wedding was – especially the food which was absolutely wonderful, and ensured that no-one went hungry! The room was amazing and the attention to detail was evident.
Mark you were fabulous on the day, making sure everything went smoothly and ensuring everyone was in the right place at the right time. We had many comments from guests about how fantastic you were at many tasks – from the beautiful violin and piano music, to helping out guests, to being master of ceremonies and DJ.
Erin, from the first time we met you to look at Loxley your professionalism, organisation and friendliness made us feel welcomed and confident. Your help along the way was invaluable. Thankyou for making our day so special.
To all the other staff, you all made the day run so seamlessly and took all the worry away as we knew that you would think of everything. From helping us make sure the room looked spectacular (thanks Vanessa!), to the outstanding service during the reception to the beautifully made up rooms.

Thank you so much for making our daughter Michelle and son-in-law Wayne’s wedding a spectacular event.
It was voted "the best wedding ever" by our guests.

It was not much of a day being overcast and rainy but the venue was still in immaculate condition and all of the guests were look after with such care and attention.
The ceremony was conducted under the balcony but was still a magical event
The reception dinner was great with our guests raving about the superb food and fantastic service, many of our guests commented that they had never had such a lovely meal before.
The view from the reception area was still beautiful and the warm and friendly atmosphere added to the experience.
The MC Mark was fantastic; he was professional and kept everything flowing without any pressure or fuss.
The service and attention to all details by all the staff was superb
For those who stayed overnight, they all loved it. Our overseas guests from England and interstate couldn’t believe how good it was. They wanted to stay forever.

The most important thing though was, both Wayne & Michelle had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment.

Dear Paul, Erin, Mark, Vanessa and everyone at Loxley

Thank you so much for making my daughter Danielle and son-in-law Bill’s wedding a spectacular event. It was voted “the best wedding ever” by a number of the guests.

The guests raved about the superb food and fantastic service. Some said they’d never had food so good anywhere.

It was such a hot day (45 degrees) and on the way up, we thought we were going to melt. I arrived to find several of the guests cooling off in the pool before getting ready. This was great fun for the kids (and big kids) who were there. A lovely cool breeze came through just before the ceremony began – it was just perfect.

The beautiful view and the warm and friendly atmosphere added to the experience. The MC Mark was fantastic, he was so professional. He kept everything flowing without any pressure or fuss.

For those who stayed overnight, they all loved it. Our overseas guests from Ireland couldn’t believe how good it was. They wanted to stay forever.

The most important thing though was, both Bill & Dannii had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment.

PS: Thanks for the Champagne and Roses, they were beautiful.

Dan and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for helping to make our special day such a success. A VERY BIG thank you for all the effort and energy you put into making our wedding day absolutely perfect both in the planning and on the day. You were so great to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. You were always accommodating in helping both Dan and myself in organise our special day, Every question we had you had an answer for :)

From the moment we saw Loxley,we knew Loxley was the place to celebrate our special day. Nothing could have even come close to how Loxley made us feel. The venue has such a relaxing atmosphere which was exactly what we were after, and which helped us and our guests relax, have fun and celebrate with the utmost enjoyment. Loxley is gorgeous, the ground are amazing and it really showed up in our photos which we will always treasure. The food was AMAZING, which our guests commented on and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was also great to be able to stay the night before with my Bridesmaids and to get dressed without any problems and the night of our wedding knowing our close family and friends where there was fantastic, and waking up the next morning to have breakfast with everybody out on the balcony. The whole experience was so wonderful.

Basically From the views, the food, the gardens, the rooms & the atmosphere, to the friendly and accommodating Staff in both the planning and on the day - we couldn't have asked for anything more we would have no hesitation in recommending Loxley to our friends and family. A friend is getting married there this year and I know there day will be a great success for them as ours was for us.

We also came back to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Our Anniversary was just as wonderful, The food, the staff, the privacy and the romance of a candle lit dinner over looking the same view we had on our wedding day was indescribable. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. We look forward to spending more of our Anniversary dinner's over looking that beautiful view and maybe even making it a night just to wake up to that view again would be amazing :)

Hello Erin,

As parents of the bride we just wanted to thank you and all the wonderful staff at Loxley for everything you did to ensure our daughter's and now son-in-law's wedding day was perfect even with rain......

Every bride dreams of perfect sunny weather for their wedding day but sometimes that doesnt happen! After driving most of the way to Loxley in pouring rain, we were fortunate and did get that window of a few precious hours of no rain to have a beautiful outdoor wedding, photos around the magnificent grounds of Loxley and even the bridal waltz on the deck before we went back to torrential rain for the next 24 hours!

You were there to greet us on arrival very calm and with every option covered to ensure Jennifer & Clint's day went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble.....our chosen option for rain was all set up and ready BUT as there had been no rain at Loxley for about 1/2 an hour before we arrived you felt we could have the ceremony outdoors and Jennifer decided to take the chance........without another word.....the deck was being mopped, red carpet out and rose petals everywhere......it was absolutely beautiful.

The photographer (who had not been to Loxley before) commented that you couldnt have a more perfect location for a wedding and photos. Although we were worried about the weather he said it was perfect as far as a photographer is concerned - no shadows, no glare which all makes for beautiful photos.

Hello to all the staff at Loxley, especially Erin :-)

My Husband and I had our wedding reception at Loxley on Sunday 27th September. I just want to extend our deepest thanks to all the staff that contributed to our special day. It was really beyond beautiful and when I saw the room set up, it left me speechless.

The waiters and waitresses were fantastic on the night. We had a few extra people in the room so it was a little "intimate" but the staff were fantastic at getting around and through all the tables. The guest had no complaints and neither did we :-)

I cant thank Erin enough for being so organised and just getting everything done without me having to worry about it. Erin, you are a true professional and the fact that you love your job and were genuinely interested in our day, made it all the more special.

We just wanted to write you a short note to say a very big thank you for everything that you did to make our wedding absolutely fantaastic.
From the first time that we visited Loxley, we knew that we wanted to have our reception there. We didn't even look anywhere else!! You made us feel so comfortable and the little extras made us feel like Royalty.
We had the most wonderful night and so many people have commented on what a fantastic venue Loxley is. The scenery is just spectacular and our photo's that Paula took are just stunning, we found it really hard to pic our favourites. Just a quick note to convey a heartfelt THANK YOU for being so thoughtful in regard to my dietary requirements at Ben and Eryn Hanckel’s wedding a fortnight ago.

Over the years we have attended soooooooooooooo many weddings at sooooooooooo many different venues but I have to say that yours is right up near the top of the list as far as
*venue – views are stunning; the actual areas where the guests mingle are so well set out and just have a lovely feel – the decor is perfect – the dance floor outside is just wonderful
*staff - all staff were efficient; friendly; switched on to individual needs; polite and had a genuineness about them that you just don’t get these days – you knew they actually DID care how it all went!!
*food - THE BEST – what a wonderful selection of food and the presentation was superb

I would without a doubt recommend you to any of our friends whose children are marrying!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Paul, Erin, Mark and the Entire Loxley staff,
Loxley on Bellbird Hill is the most unique reception centre in Sydney, it is perfect in every way!
We were looking for a property that had it all. Loxley is a complete retreat tucked away
in the Kurrajong Hills. It offers not only solitude and tranquility, but it was the perfect
venue for Tammy and Aaron’s wedding. We wanted the entire property to ourselves.
A simply stunning bridal suite and accommodation for forty of our guests.
The gardens and scenery are exquisite it was a beautiful setting for the photographs and
the video. The Kauri Room was pristine, not a fingerprint on any glassware or cutlery,
the linens were spotless as was the entire room. The inside flowed onto the wide verandah
to meet the outside and overlooked the dance floor. It was raining most of the day and night, it
added something special to the day. After eighteen months of preparation, it was just magical!
Tammy and Aaron could not have had a more beautiful wedding if it was wished for.

We would like to thank Paul for creating such a unique property and his choice of staff, they are a great asset.
Erin, what can I say, you win so many awards for being the best in your field year after year. Nothing was a drama,
you helped in every way possible. You are an amazing coordinator with skills beyond your years. You made us feel
like Loxley on Bellbird Hill was our home for a complete 24 hours. Thank you!
Thank you Mark you are a very gracious Master of Ceremonies we were lucky to have you with us on the day. You not only
had the event running smoothly but you play your instruments so beautifully, the music was enchanting and very enjoyable.
Thank you, to the chef’s, the food was impeccable! We felt like we were in a five star restaurant.
Thank you to the waiters and bar attendants they were very attentive to everyone’s needs until the last guest had left.
They kept working into the night setting up for the most sumptuous breakfast the next morning.
Thank you for your recommendations of Blaycam at Glenwood, for the videographer. Tony was a great part of our day he
made us feel at ease. Also Russell from Inlight’s Photography Penrith, They both captured all the highlights and tears of the day.
They fitted in as part of the Loxley family as well.
We had the most amazing experience at Loxley on Bellbird Hill.

One year on from our special day, we wanted to write to you to express our appreciation for making the day so remarkable.
From the pre-wedding menu trial to the friendly and amiable waiting staff, all aspects of our wedding conveyed the relaxed and celebratory theme which we wanted our guests to experience.
The food was quite simply, to-die-for and is repeatedly brought up in conversation to this day by our guests. We wanted food which not only conveyed our own love of all things culinary. But for it to stand alone as a memorable moment of the day. And for that you truly excelled.

The violin and piano music made the day all the more special Mark you are truly talented as both a musician and MC, and Erin it was a relief for us to know that everything was in your capable hands Loxley is lucky to have such a dedicated team member.

Compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff for the outstanding meals and effort to accommodate our guests with allergies and thank you to the floor staff for the faultless service throughout the night.

Dear Erin,

Scott and I would like to say thank you to yourself, Mark and all the staff at Loxley, for all you help in making our Wedding day perfect. We found the staff to be very professional, and yourself and Mark made me feel at ease in the few hours prior to the ceremony, and the Bridal Suite is gorgeous, being able to use it for the whole day, was a nice relaxing way to start my wedding day off.

Mark was very accommodating, making sure everything was ok before the ceremony, checking that the needs of Scott and groomsmen were attended too, and the added touch of playing the violin during our photo's and the piano during dinner, added something special to the day. Would you pass on our thanks to him.

We received comments on the day and are still being told what a great location Loxley is, our guests enjoyed the food and had a great time. Breakfast on the balcony with friends the next morning was perfect.

Dear Erin,

We just wanted to thank you and all the staff at Loxley for making our special day a memorable one. From the very beginning, all the staff were extremely professional and were always willing to assist with minor details and even last minute changes.

From the time that we arrived and finalised things with Jacqui, Glenn and I were able to sit back and relax before our big day knowing that everything was under control.

All the staff were extremely helpful on the morning of our wedding, from Russell with all our breakfast (which was divine) and drink orders after the ceremony to Jacqui who made sure the flowers were with Glenn and the groomsmen and also helped us down from the bridal suite. Even the water dragons made an appearance to help us celebrate our day by joining the guests for the ceremony and then later joining Glenn and I for our bridal waltz.

Mark was brilliant with all the music and also the MC duties. I loved the sound of the violin whilst I was walking down the aisle. He is certainly a man of many talents.

All our guests remarked on the amazing food and beautiful surroundings. Some of the guests even enquired about staying in the chalets for their upcoming wedding anniversaries and weekend getaways.

Thanks again Erin for everything. We are already talking about returning for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Dear Paul,

We would like to thank you and Erin for making the Wedding such a special occasion.

None of the guests had attended Loxley previously and were pleasantly surprised with both the delightful venue and the service.

Everyone assumed initially that we would have it at our hotel, but Wayne and I wanted to enjoy ourselves and we knew you could do it so much better and you did.

Everyone from Erin to Mark was extremely pleasant and helpful and everything ran like clockwork.

The food was great, the music was not too loud and everyone comment on what a lovely night they had.

Those that stayed overnight loved the accommodation and would happily come back again.

Hi Erin,

We've been meaning to write to say a HUGE thank you to you, mark and the staff of Loxley. We've said thank you in person but just thought it might be nice in writing too. Our wedding day was just so perfect! Everybody kept on commenting on how beautiful Loxley is. We sure loved the venue, the food, the reception room, and the bridal suite was very luxurious!

You were always so helpful and organised-it took a lot of the stress off me. You certainly deserve all those wedding planning awards!! The whole day run smoothly and it was easy for both of us just to relax.

Dear Erin,

We would like to thank you for making our wedding day a memorable one through your careful and attentive coordination. Right from the first time we met you, we were impressed with your professional and friendly style. Nothing ever seemed to much trouble in the meticulous organisation of our day. If anything needed to be done, you were on call to ensure that the day ran as smoothly as possible.

Our wedding guests made very complimentary remarks to us about the location of Loxley and how beautiful it was. This is one of the reasons why some of our guests chose to stay overnight and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast with us the next morning. This was a feature that we particularly liked about this reception venue.

Hi Erin,

We would just like to say thank you so much for an absolutely perfect wedding day. You were so lovely to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. You were always accommodating in helping us organise special suprises for each other, and even relocated the ceremony at the last minute to our preferred location on the balcony after the rain had only just cleared.

Loxley is a gorgeous venue, and it really showed up in our photos which we will treasure forever. We loved Loxley the moment we saw it. The venue has a relaxing atmosphere which was exactly what we were after, and which helped us and our guests relax and celebrate. The food was also great, which our guests commented on and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was also great to be able to stay the night at the venue with our close family and friends, and wake up the next morning to have breakfast with everybody out on the balcony.

Hello to Erin, Chris, Mark and the Loxley Team,

It’s a very late email! 2 months have passed since we got married at Loxley…. Since then we also had another wedding ceremony in New Delhi, India. We cannot compare the 2 weddings as they were a totally different experience.

We just wanted to thank you for a fantastic wedding….. we cannot thank you enough for having a absolutely perfect day. Erin, you are an asset to Loxley and we appreciate all the help and advice you gave us to make our day the best. Since we have been back in Sydney we have heard countless people say to us that this was the best wedding we have been too!! From the venue itself- the beautiful gardens, fantastic photos opportunities, to the food, the atmosphere, to Mark and his wonderful ability to keep the crowd moving- even playing a lullaby for a baby girl to all asleep to. We also appreciate the fact that Loxley was so flexible to our needs. When we introduced the idea of having an Hindu (Indian) ceremony as well as a Catholic ceremony, it was welcomed with open arms.

Myself and Nitin had a wonderful day, it was just what we wanted. We didn’t want to be hassled with any details on the day. Everything we wanted to happen, happened, thanks to the team at Loxley. Although it was a busy day, we had a ball… we were so relaxed and our guest could tell that we were relaxed as well which made the day a special one.

I know people say that when they walk into a Wedding venue they can imagine their wedding at that place. We too had that feeling when we first saw Loxley. We went with our family to have a look and we were impressed at the hospitality we were shown, even though we were just looking!! No one could have prepared us for the experience we had a Loxley, it by far exceeded our expectations, both in service and ambience. So a big congratulations to the whole team for our special day and I am sure that there will be many other couples who will experience the same feeling of “BLISS” that we did.

Thank you for being an enormous part of our special day. We consider the day to have been a great success and the feedback we've received from family and friends has been very positive.

Erin, I remember on the day we first spoke, you had just gotten off the phone with a bride that had moved her wedding from the date we were so keen to have to one in March 2008. It was a fabulous moment of perfect timing and coincidence and I was so happy to have the date I wanted. We came to visit not long after and we were impressed by the beautiful gardens and breathtaking views from the moment we arrived.

When we mentioned to family and friends that we were holding our ceremony and reception at "Loxley on Bellbird Hill", we were fortunate to find that several knew you personally. They all said that you would go to the ends of the earth to make our day special and a success and they weren't wrong! You are an incredible event planner with exceptional attention to detail. Despite there being events at Loxley on each weekend (many of them weddings), you made us feel so important and special.

Mark, thank you so much for being our music co-ordinator and Master of Ceremonies. It was very clear from the first meeting at our home that you have been doing this many years. I'm still impressed you know the length of the intro that needed to be skipped in Harry Connick Jr's "It Had To Be You"! I appreciate that you were very flexible and had no problems with me being so specific with the music I wanted on the day.

You kept the day running smoothly and made sure we were on time (or as close to it as possible!). Hearing the music chosen for my walk down the aisle come over the loud speaker for the first time, and at exactly the right point in the song, literally took my breath away. The comments from our family and friends about the emotion of the music on the day were lovely.

To the fabulous team in the kitchen: the food was amazing!! We had only heard wonderful reports about the food at Loxley and we weren't disappointed. Even the vegetarian meal, which can easily be quite generic and uninteresting, was creative and delicious.

The Kauri Room was beautifully decorated and felt cosy and romantic.

The day itself is quite chaotic with many people coming and going, and yet it all went according to plan. You were all very helpful and always smiling, and I'm sure there are many moments when your job is frustrating. You work in an environment of high emotion and I'm sure it can be very draining to maintain outstanding levels of patience and good cheer. We hope you like the photos enclosed.

We wish "Loxley on Bellbird Hill" every success for 2008 and the future. We will certainly have every confidence in recommending your business to anyone. We look forward to returning for other special occasions in our relationship.

From the first day we saw Loxley, we knew Loxley was the place to celebrate our special day.

From the views, the gardens, the rooms & the atmosphere, to the friendly and accommodating Staff - we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Planning a wedding from Interstate via emails, was going to be a challenge. However Erin and the staff at Loxley made the process easy.
Everyone was accommodating and the attention to detail was amazing.

Our dream was for an elegant but relaxing wedding, and Loxley was the most amazing and special place, proving to be exactly what we were after and more.

We have just arrived back from our honeymoon, and still receiving comments of how amazing the food, the location, the service and the overall night was. All of our guests (including ourselves) traveled a great distance to share our special day at Loxley, & have commented that the experience was definitely worth the drive.

Dear Erin, Mark and all the Angels at Loxley,

Magical is how we would describe the wedding of our daughter Sarah to Rowan and the stunning venue and the wonderful staff at Loxley played a mammoth part! Everyone felt that we were all touched with 'fairy dust' as the whole event felt so surreal, even the weather was especially kind to us with such a glorious day.

There was an enchanted aura from the first time we visited Loxley on Bellbird, we all knew this was the location to make our special occasion "extraordinary". Initially some guests thought Loxley was 'a long way to travel' but everyone agreed 'it was definitely worth the drive' as the views were stunning, the venue divine, the gardens inviting and the staff were warm and friendly. It was a fantastic idea of Erin's for all the bridesmaids, the bride and the mother of the bride to come up the day before and stay in the chalets. We were so relaxed after swimming in the pool and going on long walks we felt like all the wedding guests were visiting our own private house.

A wedding is such an important occasion and every bride wants it to be a perfect event and of course the parents want it to be beautiful too. It's impossible to pinpoint exactly what made this a perfect wedding because the many telephone calls we have received from family and friends all comment on different aspects; but the one general theme is that the night ran so smoothly and guests felt so completely at home. Mark (Mr Music Man) definitely gets tops 'marks' for the Magician's award for orchestrating such a smoothly run event and providing such idyllic music. Erin (the wedding planner), you are worth your weight in gold - you live and breath Loxley. You add your own special magic and are such a delight to work with. Congratulations to you and Loxley for winning your awards, you definitely attract tourists to Kurrajong! The customer service and attention to detail from Everyone at Loxley was 'out of this world', it was definitely above and beyond expectation - even the beautiful photo you included on your website of Sarah and Rowan captured the essence of the venue and the permanent smiles on the faces of the bride and groom!

To top it off, breakfast on the balcony the next morning for all the guests that stayed at Loxley was a delightful way of reliving the wedding!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we will definitely be 'walking / talking' advertisements for Loxley on Bellbird Hill - it even made us (parents of the bride) consider renewing our vows - not bad after 34 years of marriage!!).

Dear Erin and all Staff at Loxley
Janice and myself would like to express our heart felt thanks to all staff involved on our special day.
The decision to hold our reception at Loxley On Bellbird Hill was always felt to be the right decision,
prior to the wedding when asked where we holding the reception and mentioning Loxley people
would say it's perfect.

From the start all dealings with you or any member of the staff made us feel you were doing your utmost
to provide the best day we could hope for. Mark playing both the violin and his piano was incredible,
we were pleasantly surprised when Mark appeared with his violin whilst we were in the garden having
our photos taken and leading us thru the gardens to the the reception room. Mark kept the night running
smoothly, with both his MC work thru to music selection and playing the piano.

All our guest remarked all night long that the venue was perfect, and the meals were awesome. Our
Bridal party at breakfast the next morning kept remarking that that the room was just right for the
number of people in attendance. The accommodation both with the Honeymoon suite thru to romantic
chalets was outstanding with remarkable views as far as the eye could see.

We will definitely recommend your venue to any friends or family who wish to marry in the future, in fact
one of Janice's relatives will be contacting you in hope of booking.

Hi Erin and to all at the Loxley on Bellbird Hill,

Duane and myself would like to thank yourself and all of the staff at Loxley for making our dream wedding come true. We couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous, beautiful and romantic location to finally get married. With the ceremony in the late afternoon, and such a clear and beautiful day, our photos turned out spectacular! The evening sunset was just gorgeous. Thankyou for letting us park our baby (the car) on the grass behind the ceremony area and for giving us the idea to have our first dance as husband and wife outside on the lower deck. It was truly amazing!

Guests commented on the wonderful view of the surrounds from upstairs during the evening, and early into the morning! It is an absolutely beautiful location.

THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! BEST FOOD EVER! Every single guest loved the meal and the many who stayed up overnight, loved the breakfast in the morning. It was a great way to finish a great weekend. Your staff (both in the kitchen and at the bar) should be congratulated on getting everything done so perfectly and efficiently. Their service was to the highest standards.

Thankyou Erin for understanding the kind of simple, no fuss wedding we wanted and for helping to make it a reality. And to Mark for making our day run so smoothly by telling us where and when we should be somewhere, playing the violin for us while having photos, for 'MC ing' the evening and for creating a great atmosphere during the night.

Guests are saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Thankyou once again loxley and all of your staff. You made our day very special indeed!

Hi Erin

We would like to thank yourself and all of the staff at Loxley for making our dream wedding come true on Saturday.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Everything ran according to plan and the staff were awesome. In particular we would like to thank Francesca (the girl who looked after us at breakfast on Sunday morning). She helped our bridal party out with food and drinks while we were having our photos done and right throughout the night. She was perfect on Sunday her service was impeccable.

I had a lot of comments that the food was the best a lot of people had had at a wedding and the venue was flawless.

The wedding was everything we had dreamt of plus more!!! I would recommend Loxley to anyone.

As anyone who has gotten married or is planning a wedding knows it can be very stressful and full on but from the moment we arrived at Loxley for the first time our minds were put at ease, the staff were excellent and nothing was ever a hassle for any of them. Especially Erin, your help and guidance throughout this time was great, you set my mind at ease every time we spoke and thanks for keeping Justin's surprise helicopter arrival a secret as well. We know you organize so many weddings and have so many people to deal with but we always felt like ours was the only wedding you were organizing, nothing was of any bother and you always remembered every detail we had talked about previously.

Mark, thanks for being our MC and DJ you helped make the day and night flow and the music was great.

I only have one regret from the day, it was not long enough! I wish it could of lasted forever!

To Erin, Mark, Chris and All the Staff at Loxley,

We just wanted to take the time to thank you again for a wonderful evening on the 10th March this year.

The Loxley is a beautiful and private place that amased our guests. Some of the comments that we
get is “where did you find that place” or “can you get married again so we can stay at the Loxley again”.

From the day we booked our reception to the day of the wedding the service and attention that we received was impeccable. From the zillion questions we asked of poor Erin leading up to the wedding (which were never a problem) to the way things were set up and run on the day we cannot express our thanks enough!

Lead by Chris, all the staff on the night went above and beyond to make our night ours. Nothing was a
problem and everyone always had a drink, which was important to us. Chris and Erin, you should be proud of the team you have there.

Mark was amasing - from keeping everyone in order and everything running like clockwork to playing the
violin and piano. A beautiful selection of music presented professionally and exactly to our tastes…

The food was divine. We included canapés and may we say it was so nice to see something other than
the usual deep fried affair. From oysters to the watermelon shots we were impressed! We had two chefs attend our wedding who both gave the food a double thumbs up… The meals were perfect in every way.

Thanks again for everything, and congratulations on what we know is the best wedding venue in Sydney!

Just keep doing what you are doing and we know that many couples, like us, will take with them memories of that wedding day that is truly theirs.

Mark, thank you. Without you directing us throughout the night it would have been a stand still. Thank you for playing the wonderful live music on the piano for us, I was so "wowed" when I discovered that we would have the oportunity to have live music as it makes an atmosphere one hundred times more romantic & beautiful.
There were so many things happening all at once & there you were, calm & collected, shuffling us along patiently to the next part of the evening.

All of our guests commented on the great food, service & were in absolute awe of the perfect natural surroundings, curious as to how we discovered such a beautiful place....so many of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We are still in awe.

Breakfast the next morning with family, friends & a great view, on the verandah, was a great way to come down to earth the next day.

I spoke to Erin today, and with all her other wedding plans to finalise, and the Bride's with their Grooms, she still remembered our wedding, and asked me if our photographer had the baby yet!!

Paul, We love your "homestead" like feel to Loxley. The Timber work, the lower deck, and all the grounds are still in complete awe of our guests, its an artwork and all your staff are the artists. Over and Over I am asked how I found such a breathtaking venue!

My mother whom was apprehensive about not marrying in a church, said the view she and our Guests had faced behind our ceremony, was one of Gods finer creations with the hillside behind Loxley. (after she said that she kissed me, so I guess with your view she had our blessing! thank you!)

Someone had said to me they remember when you were putting it together years ago, that you had hoped it "takes off" Wow Paul it has, to infinity and beyond!

We are both so happy with our wedding day. We had been engaged for 5 years, and had decided to have a garden wedding with a picnic reception 'somewhere' in Kurrajong. Then I accidentally stumbled onto your website. The rest is an amazing journey, now wonderful history!

You, Erin have the most amazing natural aura about yourself that turns Brides wedding Lemons into wonderful bubbly Lemonade. From the "first date with Erin" questions to our breakfast day after the wedding you made our memory of Loxley one of the most beautiful pictures in our minds forever. Most of our guests were from either Sydney or interstate and we have now been married just over a month and guests are still talking about our wedding. Comments were made such as fantastic venue, fantastic food, great service and the best wedding they have been to or the wedding of the year. Loxley is just elegant and stunning and not to mention your wedding day becomes very simple when Loxley staff are involved.

Paul, you have a beautiful beautiful place and I can assure you there is no venue in the city of Sydney that would even come close to Loxley.

Erin, My gosh you hold your head high, you are very proud of your job and you assist with any request that comes your way. Well done because I think dealing with brides everyday would be a huge task.

Chefs, the food was to die for and thank you for allowing me to make adjustments to the menu to suit all my guests.

Housekeeping, Thank you for the little things you do like making the rooms perfect for all the guests and even assisting with jewellery for one of the mothers.

Dear Paul, Erin and Staff,

Just a short note to thankyou all for ANOTHER spectacular stay at Loxley. Chris and I were fortunate enough to have our reception at Loxley on 27th August 2005. 1 year ago tomorrow, and simply had to return for our 1st anniversary (Baby in tummy too!!) Our wedding was simply amazing. I'm imagining how many people say that, but our's was.

Paul and Erin, you are two of our most favourite people in the world. Erin, you are amazing at your job. Paul, Im sure we visit just to see you! Nothing was a bother for our wedding - NOTHING - your service and professionalism was outstanding, and only heightened by the sincerity and well wishes you both had for our happiness - which is extremely rare in this day and age. This sincerity shone through again, on our 1st anniversary stay.

The welcome was warm and inviting and reminded us of why we had chosen Loxley for our reception in the first place (that was after the chills up and down our spine as we drove in the driveway, bringing memories flooding back of our special day).

The chalet we stayed in was warm, homey and beautifully comfortable. We LOVE the fireplace!!! The bed was fit for a king and queen. The food, was once again, above anything we've ever had the experience of eating before. The chef working on the night we stayed was pleasant and accomodating...we wanted to bring him home!! Its amazing how, even with all the staff and other guests staying, we felt like we were the only people in the entire world. The view was spectacular also; evening and morning.

Our most favoured part was being able to take photos of ourselves, and me with my belly bump to show our little one when he arrives in January 07, where his mummy and daddy started their union in this life. We arrived at Loxley just on dark on the day of our wedding and missed alot of the photos we wanted taken in the grounds of Loxley, so it was extra special to be able to get these photos to add to our album and brag books. ie; explorers retreat, the big tree, the ponds, the gardens in general.

I could write forever and dont think I would ever be able to explain how relaxed, spoilt, happy and thrilled we were that we could spend our special occasion(s) at Loxley on Bellbird. We didnt want to leave (again). We tell everyone we know about you and your wonderful establishment and look forward, more than anything, to many many many future visits and stays with you. We will see you in a year with an extra "Heywood"! Thankyou again from the bottom of our hearts extended family!

I would like to thank you all for providing us with the most spectacular wedding a we could ever have ask for. All the staff had worked so hard to make things as easy and stress free for us on the day, and it all came together without a hitch!

The whole day ran smoothly. Even the hours prior to the wedding at Trellises where the girls were made most welcome. The makeup, hairdressing and photography all 1st class. The floral arrangements created by Neva’s friend were stunning.
Our guests were also most impressed with every aspect of the day. They all complemented regarding predinner drinks, the hors d’oeuvers and the dinner menu. Oh what a scenic setting!

The room looked amazing, and was exactly what I was picturing! So romantic, and absolutely perfect!! Thank you!

Mark, your music was beautiful! Thank you for being so flexible and accommodating in terms of finding all the music we wanted played, and thank you also for gracing our guests with your wonderful musical talent on the piano and violin - the atmosphere wouldn't have been as romantic without you!!

Paul, thank you for giving us the opportunity to hold our reception at your establishment - you have built something which is so special, and I will be recommending Loxley to anyone who asks where to have a function!! The setting, the gardens, the rooms - everything is beautiful!

Chefs - your food was delightful!! The canapes were the best canapes we have ever had! I especially loved the little Pumpkin Soups and the Octopus - very creative and so well presented! Entree's, mains and desserts were all fantastic, and were very generous serves which was fantastic! No one went home hungry and everyone has been raving about the sorbet cleanser!! So thanks for filling everyone up on one of the best meals we have had in a very long time!

And finally to the staff who were working on the night - you were all fantastic! The service was flawless!! All our guests commented not only on your friendliness, but also your efficiency and again, attention to detail. We really appreciate everyone being there on a Saturday night, and hope you all enjoyed the night as much as we did!

We are so glad we chose Loxley for our reception venue - there is NOTHING about the day that we would change, and that is all thanks to everyone at Loxley! As I said before, we will have no problems reccommending Loxley to ALL our friends and family for future functions! Afterall, we'd love to be a guest at another function there!!

I really appreciate the effort your chef put into the menu to cater for our guests who were vegetarians or celiacs. I was nervous initially at having a cocktail party for our wedding, but it all was just as I had imagined.
